Residential Units
The legal entity is responsible for maintaining the exteriors of all residences and the communal areas. Maintenance is conducted regularly according to a structured schedule. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their residence interiors. A request register, located in the library, is available for residents to log repair needs.
Security
The resort is safeguarded by a reputable security company, supported by a dedicated response unit. State-of-the-art electronic equipment is employed to secure the entrance and perimeter. Additionally, each residential unit is fitted with an emergency communication device (MAMI). A comprehensive security policy document is available at the administrative office.
Gardens
The gardens surrounding the residential units are part of the resort’s communal property. However, residents are welcome to develop their gardens in collaboration with the Trustee responsible for Gardens and their immediate neighbours.
• Trees around residential units may not be removed without prior approval from the Trustee for Gardens.
• The planting of new trees is restricted to species listed on the resort’s approved tree list, which is available from the administrative officer.
The resort is renowned for its beautifully maintained gardens, which are among the finest in the Pretoria area. This is partly due to the use of the resort’s private borehole for irrigating communal gardens.
Gardeners
The resort employs professional gardeners to maintain its grounds. These gardeners may not be engaged for private tasks outside their designated responsibilities.
